Description
Norvic Ambulance is a fast-growing independent ambulance company. We have ambitious plans to expand into new ambulance services and new geographical areas. Our main focus is the East of England, but we have recently set up in Bristol. We are committed to having the Control Room HQ based in Taverham, Norwich.

We are looking for a full-time Control Room Coordinator to report to the Control Room Manager. If you have a logistics background, a ‘can do’ attitude, can remain calm under pressure, possess excellent customer service and administration skills, and can cope with flexible working hours, this may be the job for you.

Key responsibilities:

Receiving calls from customers, confirming prices where necessary and despatching appropriate crews on appropriately equipped vehicles to meet deadlines.
Entering accurate and complete job booking details into the company’s bespoke IT system is essential as this influences invoicing and Management Information reporting.

Hours of work:

Four 12 hour shifts per week are on offer. This may include weekends. Additional hours may be required to meet the needs of the business. The Control Room is staffed from 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday, and from 7am to 7pm at weekends. Flexibility is important. Some out-of-hours phone responsibilities come with the job.

Pay:

Salary is £20,367.36 per annum (based on £8.16 per hour, 48 hours per week).

Holiday:
28 days (includes Bank Holidays).
