Description
This role is an exciting opportunity with a forward thinking, innovative company. This company has expansion plans and there is an opportunity to develop in line with this expansion. The role is mainly a communications position and performs a teleprospecting function. The Editorial Researcher/Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for making calls to companies Internationally, instigating communication with CEO’s/MD’s/decision makers of Companies . The ultimate aim is to discuss our Clients product, educate the decision maker on what value our Client has to offer, and establish whether the Company is a potential customer. The role will utilize your professional communication, your research and interviewing skills, as well as your marketing and sales skills.
The position requires great verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to actively listen, the ability to be assertive and persuasive, and the ability to learn and think on your feet. Basic computer skills are also required for efficient documentation and research.
We are specifically seeking applicants who already have experience within the editorial sector in a similar role. Our Client can offer a fresh approach and excellent long term potential. Perhaps may suit a person who is unhappy being a number and has the desire to be treated as an individual! Alternatively you may feel limited financially in your current role – the OTE within the position during year one is £35k (with a good basic salary also on offer).
