Carewatch (Central Norfolk) operate an annual Profit Share Scheme, a Free Health Insurance cash plan and Free Personal Accident insurance (Please ask for details).
£6.50 starting rate per hour Mon-Fri with enhancements for weekends and Bank Holidays. Mileage allowance. Within 6 months you can undertake NVQ 2, which will automatically increase your salary. Also, an NVQ level 2 will enable you to become a senior care worker, again enhancing the rate of pay.
We are seeking applicants for Care Support Workers in the following areas: DEREHAM, SWANTON MORLEY, NORTH ELMHAM, BAWDESWELL, BRADENHAM, CASTON, WATTON, SHIPDHAM, SAHAM TONEY & MATTISHALL + SURROUNDING PARISHES. Hours per week: 16 - 37 Working Hours: flexible - covering part or all 7am - 2pm or/and 5pm - 10pm. shared weekend working. Regular work/shifts. Applicants achieving NVQ2 may be put forward for Senior Care Support Worker positions on guaranteed hours. Details: We provide services that enable people to maintain living in their own homes. This might include personal care, assistance with eating and drinking and medication support. Carewatch are looking for people who are available to work some weekends, evenings or/and holiday periods. Carewatch would strive to roster a round of care work to suit your availability and minimum distance to travel. Working as a Care Worker provides you with flexible work that offers a choice of hours to suit most people including: Morning, Lunch, Tea and Evening rounds weekdays and weekends. If you are honest and reliable, have your own transport and will travel to some of the Parish areas (above), Carewatch will provide you with good rates of pay, enhancements for weekends and a mileage allowance. Full induction training and support will be provided. Experience: An advantage, but not essential as full training and support will be given. Training: Full induction training prior to confirmation of employment, inc: Company Orientation, Manual Handling, Emergency Aid, Protection of Vulnerable Adults and More. Enhanced CRB disclosure prior to employment. Full vetting procedures prior to employment. This could take approx 8 weeks.
