As Assistant Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the unit to include • Lead and motivate the team • Train and develop the team • Control costs and deliver financial results and profitability against budgets • Display a positive and motivated attitude at all times • Work well under pressure • Comply with current legislation relating to health and safety, food hygiene and licensing laws • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills • Proven leadership skills • A proficient understanding of café management • Able to proof eligibility to work in the United Kingdom • Evidence of a valid national insurance card The Client My client is leading the way in independent gastro pubs serving the some of the best food in town.
