As a result of recent reorganisation and internal promotion, we are seeking to recruit Technicians to our Physics, Biology and ICT Departments, which vitally support our education, learning and business management functions. Description 39 working weeks/43 paid weeks The Jobs Report to an academic Head of Dept Work 20 hours (Biology) and 42 hours (Physics) over a 6 day week Source, maintain and set up equipment for experiments Assist in the design of laboratory experiments in line with syllabus and pupil needs Assist the teacher with the conduct of experiments Ensure a healthy, orderly and safe laboratory environment The People Good general level of education A Technician qualification or equivalent in Biology or Physics. Previous experience of setting up, operating, facilitating and dismantling equipment. IT literate and well organised.
