Location: Oulton Broad near Lowestoft, 35 minutes via train from Norwich. 2 years commercial experience using PHP (OOP), developing secure and robust web applications. Excellent knowledge of, MySQL & HTML. Linux Server Administrator and AWS experience advantageous. Dessol develops websites, e-commerce solutions and web-based business tools for clients around the world. Your role will combine development work on new, bespoke projects and the maintenance of existing client applications. We work in a converted chapel at Oulton Broad, near Lowestoft in Suffolk, UK. Our unique location offers the chance to combine a laid-back rural lifestyle with the best of the city: while East Anglia’s beautiful coastline and the popular Norfolk Broads will be on your doorstep, you’ll still have easily accessible rail links to Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge and London. This role could be the ideal chance for a developer currently based in London or another major city to downsize to a quieter, easier-going way of life, while at the same time stepping up to take a more central role in major, technically challenging PHP projects.
