Hales Group is looking for a Tax Senior to join this regional firm who are going through a strong period of growth. They are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join their tax compliance department where you will report directly into the senior tax manager and partners. Within this role you will be responsible for: Reviewing accounts and working papers and preparing business tax and corporation tax computations The preparation and submission of corporation tax returns The preparation and submission of Self Assessment returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts Maintaining clients’ investment ledgers Dealing with HMRC enquiries and interventions Dealing with queries from clients, partners and colleagues within other departments You will be given a high level of independence and responsibility for your own mixed portfolio of clients and will be able to demonstrate your ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team. To be successful in this role you will have mixed tax experience and will be ATT qualified, although other professional qualifications will be considered. You will possess strong IT skills and be confident when communicating with different levels of people.
