Description
This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of P&S Personnel who are operating as an employment agency.
Our client based in Bury St Edmunds is looking for a production manager.
Main duties will include -
• Planning – preparing orders, setting quality standards and estimating timescales and costs
• Control – monitoring production schedules and adjusting them if problems occur
• Supervision – managing the production staff and making sure targets are met.
Will be required to put together production reports for factory managers and clients.
You will be required to work closely with Technical managers, company buyers, suppliers, quality control, training departments, and health and safety managers.
Applicants need to have sustained and implemented ISO9001 into a working environment.
Must have experience with lean manufacturing and the ability to bring in new, exciting and progressive ideas to move the company forward.
