Description
P&S are currently seeking a Sales Engineer to report to the Sales Division Manager assisting the Sales Division team in all aspects of the day to day work to help maintain, develop and deliver their projects within budget and on time. The role is primarily office based; however, some travel is required to attend meetings and visit sites for which a vehicle is provided. This will ideally suit a person with project management and engineering experience
You shall be responsible for:
- Maintaining relationships with our existing customers and potential new customers
- Preparing proposals/ tenders for enquiries received
- Preparing quotations (using in-house computer programme)
- Taking sales calls and dealing with generator enquiries
- Reading and understanding technical specifications and drawings
- Programming project installation requirements
Essential skills:
- Possess excellent computer skills
- A good telephone manner
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- A team player with the ability to interact with others on all levels and use own initiative
Desirable Skills:
- A background in engineering (electrical/mechanical)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage
