The Client

My Client is a luxurious and highly regarded hotel based on the outskirts of Norwich. They boast 94 individually styled rooms, 12 versatile conference and banqueting rooms, a two AA Rosette restaurant along with extensive leisure and golfing facilities. Their reputation is second to none and they pride themselves on their attention to detail and excellent standards of guest care.
The Role

As Director of Food & Beverage you will be responsible for all aspects of the operation including restaurants, bars, lounges, room service, kitchen and conference and banqueting facilities. You will oversee the development and implementation of departmental strategies and execution of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. You will ensure the food and beverage operation meets the brands target customer needs, ensures associate initiatives, focusing on growing revenues and maximising financial performance of all departments. You must have the ability to implement and sustain an ongoing employee training and development program ensuring great team communication and motivation. You will be responsible for forecasts and budgets, setting and achieving sales target and profit budget. You will be fully accountable for all legal aspects including licensing, health & safety, food safety and recruitment. This Food and Beverage Director role is a key position that needs an experienced and strategic manager

The Person

Experience in food and beverage management is essential, ideally with kitchen operation knowledge and understanding. The ideal candidate must be able to develop strategies and roll out changes as and when required. Ideally you will have a track record of successful food and beverage sales, promotion and revenue development. You need to have a proven ability to manage high volume quality operations and team of 100+ associates and managers. As Food and Beverage Director, you need to be extremely hands-on and a strong manager who leads from the front.
